pathetic? insert a million other synonyms?
no matter how you put it, you, my loves, did not deserve anything. you didn’t deserve to win the american league west. you didn’t deserve to get into the playoffs. you did nothing to deserve that. blowing a thirteen game lead doesn’t show that you’re too keen on getting into the playoffs.
because, belive it or not, the mlb is not going to let you into the playoffs just because you’ve been to the playoffs the last two years.
so you know what? i’m happy the oakland a’s won the american league west. and i’m happy the baltimore orioles won the wildcard spot. we didn’t deserve either. try harder next year.
